Add a new Outlook 365 Account

Getting Started

1. Enter your email address.
2. Check “Let me set up my account manually” and then click Connect.

4. Fill out incoming mail settings. Server: mail.cpagardens.com
Port: 995
Encryption Method: SSL/TLS
Leave SPA unchecked

5. Fill out incoming mail settings. Server: mail.cpagardens.com
Port: 465 or 587
Encryption Method: SSL/TLS
Leave SPA unchecked

IMAP Account Settings

6. Enter in your password and then click connect.

Done!

6. If everything was set up correctly you should see "Account successfully added" with IMAP account under. Click done and send out a test email to yourself and/or co-worker to make sure everything is sending properly.

Add a new 2019 Outlook Account

Ensure "Require login using secure password Authentication" is not checked.

Incoming server port is 993, using TLS. Outgoing server is 587 with TLS.

Modifying an Existing Account

Calendar and Contact Syncing

Calendar and contact syncing is a bit more difficult with Outlook because Outlook does not support CalDav or CardDav. cFos creates a plugin to add support, currently free, which we may use to enable two-way sync.

Instructions to setup the plugin can be found here.

The url to sync a calendar will look similar to this where demo@mail.cpagardens.com would be replaced with the email account that holds the calendar and "test" would be calendar to sync.

Visit https://support.cpagardens.com/ and find login located on the right side of the navigation bar. From there use your login credentials to access your account.

If this is your first time trying to access your Client Account please generate a new password at: https://support.cpagardens.com/index.php?fuse=home&view=login

Click Forgot your password
In the reset password box enter your registered email address
Click 'Submit' button then check your email for your new password.

After that you may Access your Client Account at:

We recommend you to change your password after your first log in:
1.) Click the top right drop down option “Welcome, <Your Name>” and select Edit Profile.
2.) At the bottom of the form you will see password input fields, New Password and Confirm password and hit update.

If your email program/app stopped receiving emails, due to connection errors or timeouts, there are several possible reasons:

1. You have a temporary internet connection issue (bad connection, ISP issues).
Please check your internet connection by visiting any website (like google.com, etc.). If you’re having connection issues with other websites, please contact your Internet service provider.

2. Password has been changed
If you recently had a password change be sure to go on all of your email programs & apps, navigate to your server settings, update the password, and wait 30 minutes. This will prevent any failed login attempts that could case a temporary lockout.

3. Your current IP address is temporarily blocked by our firewall, due to multiple failed login attempts.
If you can't view the Zimbra web mail interface at mail.cpagardens.com, please contact us with your current IP address (as shown on www.wimi.com), and we'll investigate the issue.

Setting up a new mail account
1. Access your settings by pulling down the notifications bar and tap the little gear icon in the top right. Alternatively you can access your settings by swiping up or down on your home screen, then tap settings.
2. In settings tap Accounts and backup then tap Accounts
3. Start a new account by tapping Add account.
4. Tap Email and then Others
5. Enter the email address then tap NEXT.
6. Enter the password then tap DONE.
7. When the select account type pops up, tap IMAP account
8. Change the User name to your email address
9. Incoming Server settings:

11. Security type: TLS
12. Port: 143
13. Outgoing Server settings:
14. SMTP server: mail.cpagardens.com
15. Security type: TLS
16. Port: 587
17. Turn on Require authentication to send email and set the username below to your email address and enter password and then tap Next.
18. Review or modify sync schedule and then tap Done.
19. Review or modify Edit names and then tap Done.
20. Send yourself a test email to make sure you’re receiving emails and you're done!

In order to change your domain name records to the new server you will first need ownership of your domain name.

If you are not yet the owner of the domain name you will need to contact your current Registrar to request the transfer of your domain under your own account.

If you do not already have an account with a Domain Name Registrar, we recommend you to open an account with one registrar of your choice: networksolutions.com, GoDaddy.com, register.com, namecheap.com, etc. If you need any help moving your domain name their support is available 24/7.

If you already own your domain name please make sure you MODIFY your domain name records to point to your new website and email server.

The following records must be added to your domain name records:

If you need any help changing your domain records, please do not hesitate to contact your registrar support. They are usually available 24/7 and will get everything ready for you within 5 minutes. For anything else please contact us.

After that, your new website will be available at www.your_domain.com within 48 hours.

Setting up a new email account

In the settings app, choose the category 'mail, contacts, calendars', then choose add an account of type 'other'.
Choose to add a mail account, then enter your name, email, and password on the following screen. When given the option to use imap or pop, choose imap and enter 'mail.cpagardens.com' for both the incoming and outgoing hosts along with your email and password again. Finish on the following screen by leaving at least 'Mail' checked.

Modifying an exising account

In the settings for the account ensure that you update the password for both the incoming and outgoing server, and possibly ensure the port is set to 587 using SSL.

Syncing calendars and contacts

On the add account screen choose CalDav to connect your calendars, then enter 'mail.cpagardens.com' as the host followed by your email and new password.

The same process is used for syncing contacts.

If you use Outlook or a similar mail client, you just need to keep the mail account you have in Outlook as-is and create a new account when you switch to our mail servers. Then the new account will be empty in Outlook. You can then copy those messages into the new account within Outlook (drag and drop messages from old server inbox to the inbox on your new server) and they will sync up to the new mail server. Be sure not to cancel your old service until you have all of your emails copied.

Detailed Instructions:

In your local email client, create two new email accounts (for OLD and NEW server).
These will both be for the same email address.
Each account will use its own password, corresponding to your OLD and NEW server.
They must both be configured to connect using IMAP.
The incoming server (or IMAP server) will be different for each account. You should use your IP address for your new server, and your access domain or IP address for your old server, rather than your domain name, whenever possible. This will avoid any possible DNS conflicts.
With both accounts online, open up the inbox for the account that connects to your old server. Drag and drop messages from this inbox to the inbox on your new server.

That's it! If you have a lot of emails, give the accounts a few minutes to finish syncing up. Once they're done, your old emails will be in your mailbox on the new server.

If you are unable to connect to web mail at https://mail.cpagardens.com due to connection errors or timeouts, there are 2 possible reasons:

1. You have a temporary internet connection issue (bad connection, ISP issues).
Please check your internet connection by visiting another website (like google.com, etc.). If you have the same connection issues with other websites, please contact your Internet service provider.

OR

2. Your current IP address is temporarily blocked by our firewall, due to multiple failed login attempts.
Please wait 30 minutes and try to login again at https://mail.cpagardens.com. Make sure your email/passwords are correct. If you still can't view the web mail interface at https://mail.cpagardens.com, please contact us with your current IP address (as shown on www.wimi.com), and we'll investigate the issue.
